US CPI Rises 3.3%, Core CPI 2.6%

U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 3.3% year-over-year in the latest report, slightly below the estimate of 3.4%. Core CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 2.6% year-over-year, also below the 2.7% forecast.
